Ingredients
Serves 20
260 g softened butter
120 g icing sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla sugar
400 g flour
60 g maize starch
Method
Prep.: approx. 1 hour
Put the softened butter and icing sugar in the mixer and blend until smooth and creamy.
Add the eggs, vanilla sugar, flour and maize starch and work everything until a dough forms.
Knead the dough on a lightly floured surface until it’s smooth.
Form it into a rectangle, wrap in cling film and place it for 30 min. in the fridge.
Preheat the oven to 160 °C (upper and lower heat).
Put the dough on a lightly floured surface, roll it out and cut out the biscuits with your favourite cookie cutters.
Transfer the biscuits to a baking tray lined with baking parchment and bake for 12-15 min. Ask an adult to help you remove them from the oven and leave them to cool for at least 10 min.
Now it’s time to decorate the biscuits as you wish; with chocolate, sprinkles, Smarties or others you may like.
Enjoy baking!
