Our brand new
highlights

Let's write stories that we will love to share tomorrow

News from the Feuerstein

One word that is not part of owner and host Peter Mader's repertoire is “standstill”. Together with his team, he is perpetually looking for new input, inspiration and out-of-the-ordinary ideas to keep developing and improving the Feuerstein and make it even more special. Whether babies, kids, teens, parents or grandparents – we want everyone to experience unforgettable moments and never-ending highlights. We place great emphasis on quality and sustainability. And now, after months of tinkering, planning and working, we are even more excited to turn the spotlights on our new features for guests of all ages – after all, it's our desire to write our stories together with you. Stories that we will love to tell later. Stories that will last forever*.

The baby & mini room is becoming bigger and even more exciting

Our youngest guests can now enjoy a whole lot more space and several new highlights. In fact, the baby & mini room, our dedicated childcare room for babies and toddlers, has been greatly enlarged. In this room, the little ones can now immerse themselves in fanciful play in a walk-in dollhouse, speed around the race track in wooden vehicles, explore the crawl and cuddle corner or climb through the honeycomb. Of course, all new areas, furnishings and toys have been designed and carefully selected according to Montessori’s philosophy. After all, we want every child to develop individually and discover the world at their own pace and in their own way.

Wooden ride-on car race track

Our little guests can whizz around the Frechling® Flitzer car race track which, along with its ride-on vehicles, is made from durable and sustainable wood. It goes without saying that there is also a workshop and a car wash for the vehicles.

Walk-in dollhouse

Doll mums and dads can lovingly take care of their darlings in a two-floor playhouse that comes with a fully equipped kitchen, beds, clothes and much more.

Grocery store

Ready for a visit to our grocery store? There are shopping carts, groceries, coffee and much more waiting for the little shoppers – of course, it is all made of sturdy wood. This is another place, where the imagination of our youngest guests can run wild.

Cuddling and reading corner

The new baby & mini room features a spacious and cosy corner where the little ones can relax after their exciting activities: whether it's browsing through a book, snuggling with their favourite cuddle toy or simply enjoying a restful break.

Creative corner

This is where things get quite artistic. A place where we paint, cut, tape and do handicrafts using mainly natural materials, some of which the children have collected beforehand in the forest.

Brand new: the action room

It goes without saying that we have also thought of our “slightly older” guests: the new action room invites children, teenagers and adults alike to work off their energy at the Ninja Warrior course and have fun while playing interactive games on the iWall or on the Valo Jump trampoline.

Ninja Warrior course

Who will master our timed Ninja Warrior course? Endurance, speed and especially skill are what you need to defeat the challenging obstacles.

iWall

The iWall is all about promoting reaction, movement, balance and coordination, which is ensured by a mix of sports exercises and thrilling games.

Valo Jump

Valo Jump is a unique interactive game that combines trampolining with the digital gaming world. A motion sensor records the movements on the trampoline in real time and translates them into a variety of exciting games.

The new fitness trend: Padel

Rackets that are easy to handle, four walls, simple rules and lots of fun: this is what padel, which can probably best be described as a combination of squash and tennis, has in store for you. It is usually being played by four players, in other words two against two. Similar to squash, the court is enclosed by side walls which are included in the game. Thus, the ball change tends to last longer, making padel a more exciting game for many players and easier for beginners. Moreover, the game is not so much about strength and endurance, but rather about fun and strategy. Have a great time!

Workation: new office spaces

As it is often not possible for our guests to completely forget about their work – why not turn your holidays into a “workation”? Move your workplace to the Feuerstein: we have several new and well-equipped offices as well as a spacious meeting room waiting for you. And you’ll see, work will be much easier when you are surrounded by fresh mountain air and unspoilt nature.
