The Feuerstein mascot
The forests and mountain pastures of the Pflerschtal valley, with their spring ponds, streams and alpine lakes, are his home. Hidden in the moss, the fire salamander only shows up in damp weather. The rare amphibian with its yellow spots belongs to the protected animal species living in the Alps.
Yet, the Feuerstein is home to a very special and lovely fire salamander: Flammi! With his fluffy fur, the mascot is our big star! He loves to spend his time surrounded by children and likes to read, romp around and have fun with them. However, what he really likes most of all is being hugged and cuddled. You might meet him here and there – so be sure to keep eyes and ears out for our adorable Flammi!
